Marriage and family trends these days are not exactly ideal. People are getting married later in their lives, and more people are ending up living alone. The rates of cohabitation are increasing as well as the child bearing age. Women are having children later in life which results in regret and sorrow, who do you leave your things to when you pass, who do you turn to when there are things that may go wrong as you age. Women are also having less children in their lifetime. There are way more unmarried births than there should be in my opinion. Children need their parents to have a stable relationship that is healthy and good. There are more unemployed mothers, most likely due to the current rate of unmarried births. Divorce has surprisingly decreased, which is due to the number of marriages which is decreasing as well so I guess that is not super surprising.
